Where’s the NEW My Brooklyn Report?

Almost a month later and still no NEW My Brooklyn Report…what’s going on?

It’s been hard for us not to publish new content about Brownstone Brooklyn Real Estate for over a month.  We’ve got more than a month’s worth of content on the shelf that will leap off the screen at you.

And my new editor (Ayesha Long) has already began flexing her muscle around our offices at Dumbo.

She’s insisting that we resume publishing so that our readers won’t think they’ve been abandoned by it’s chief agitator (and I think she may have been referring to me).

In the world, according to my Editor, there’s an election season upon us and politics have become the number one priority to most., particularly since politicians are making their rounds at churches, synagogues and mosques asking for your vote (well, at least those who have the guts to walk into a mosque in this political season).

Health issues aside, I couldn’t agree with her more.

But where’s the NEW My Brooklyn Report touted in your last article?

I’ve been working with a group on the re-design of our imprint in the cloud, creating a new look, feel and functionality with better resources since June this year.

I’d like to believe the process has gone well up to this point but I really can’t say for sure.  Being new to the blogosphere, I don’t have a point of reference to fall back on to determine if the progress made is consistent with where we should be at this point.

So, if I had to be honest, based on the current rate of progress made, I don’t have an answer when the fruit of our efforts will appear on your computer screen.

In the meantime, Ayesha has been blackberry messaging me, insisting we resume publishing new content that she believes will knock your socks off.

and not just here…

Bed-Stuy Blog, NostrandPark (and maybe ClintonHillBlog, too)

Over the last few years, I’ve developed great relationships with some fantastic people whom I admired that were covering the Brooklyn beat with pride, tenacity and authenticity.

For their patience in waiting for us to resume our monthly real estate series on NostrandPark and Bed-Stuy Blog, I hope to make it up to you  by continuing to post relevant information, that may even shock the editors there.

And I don’t think I could have had the courage to find my voice in the blogosphere if it hadn’t been for the publisher of Clinton Hill Blog, who after more than 4 years of service to her community has had to let a little dust settle on her keyboard to make room for beautiful things happening in her life.

Perhaps there could be a monthly real estate report in the offing for this great blog about Clinton Hill (well, we can dream, can’t we?).

After a car accident, a respiratory infection and family loss…

It’s been a rough spring and summer, to say the least.

And the fine people at Bed Stuy Blog and Nostrand Park have been more than patient with all that’s kept me from meeting my commitments.

With a larger staff (there’s 4 of us here) and the fire in our belly, expect us to bring it straight with no chaser.

And over time you’ll witness the new My Brooklyn Report, your social media guide to buying, selling, owning and renting in Brownstone Brooklyn NYC.
