Sometimes, when you set out to do something (like deliver an e-book) things don’t always go according to plan.
Now, I don’t mean the book itself isn’t complete. The hard work is done when it comes to communicating an easy to use approach to making your home purchase more successful in today’s foreclosure ridden neighborhoods.
As I’ve learned recently, there are some things that are more important than even the professional satisfaction I sought in providing valued readers like you, with an important resource to help you buy right the first time in Brownstone Brooklyn.
My oldest daughter was hospitalized with a heart condition that had both my wife and I on pins and needles (not to mention quite a few sleepless nights) worrying about our first born…and what it would mean for her son, our grandchild (who also bears my first name – an honor I’m still blushing about nearly 6 years later.)
But I’m extremely happy to report that she’s doing well after leaving New York Methodist Hospital and resuming all of her normal mommy par excellence’ duties, in addition to teaching tomorrows leaders at P.S. 11 in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.
So If the book is ready, why wasn’t it released?
Great question.
When I got started on this effort, I thought the hard part would be completing the work book. As it turns out, preparing to release this 23 page work book on How to Buy your First Brownstone in a Foreclosure Short Sale in digital download format is a bit more involving that it appears.
It required that I prepare the web site for the kind of requests made to download the e-book, in addition to making the e-book available in the most broadly used format to ensure each of you could use it not only on your computer, but also on your smart phones.
I’m really glad to resume this effort now and roll out what we’ve worked on…you see, my daughter, who also happens to be my editor for the e-book, is my first born.
And I couldn’t have gone through with this without her being a part of it.
New Release Date: April 11th 2011
And because we’re late in delivering what we previously promised, I’m sweetening the offer that will come with it for those who are Subscribers to My Brooklyn Report.
I’m unofficially calling it “Our Gift to You” because of your patience and understanding.
I’ll be blasting off great posts on Brooklyn real estate beginning the end of this week, with great content to empower your buying, owning, renting and selling power.
…and thank you (from the bottom of my heart) for sticking around until we got our thing back on track. Especially to Bed Stuy Blog, Nostrand Park, Clinton Hill Blog and Citizen Who, my people in the Brooklyn Citizen Journalism Story Telling business.
(so if you see any grammatical errors or misspelled words, you know it’s because I’m editing this without her help this time).
